West Virginia Blackjack Dealer accused of Cheating
The Tri-State Racetrack and Gaming Center in West Virginia recently saw two people arrested after a blackjack dealer was accused of cheating while on the job. The state troopers were called in this past Saturday after an employee noticed the blackjack dealer cheating at the table. Video surveillance footage was viewed by the officers and the arrest was then made.

Derek Maple age 26 was the blackjack dealer in question and Trooper R.L. Walton saw Maple committing game violations with customers on the video footage. One of the supposed accomplices was found to be Nguyen Thuhuong age 41 of Mount Hope.

The video footage showed Maple briefly flash the cards and the accomplices would then wager according to what they saw. Walton arrested Maple and Thuhuong on Saturday night and Maple admitted to flashing the cards but he said he had no idea that the players could see the cards.

Both were charged with violating racetrack rules and Maple was also charge with simple possession of Lortab, which was found in his pocket during a routine search. Both were released on Sunday from the Jail.
