Gambler Tries to Play Blackjack With Fake Money
When most people head to the casino they are armed with a wad of cash or they withdraw money once they get to the casino. The crisp smell of new bills to be spent at the game table is enough to get anyone excited to gamble. But what if another player at your table is using fake bills? That is exactly what one man did recently at a Mississippi casino. Robert Louis Anderson was visiting the IP Casino Resort Spa in Biloxi, Mississippi when he decided to play a little blackjack like many on the casino floor. The only difference between Anderson and the other players is that he was using fake one hundred dollar bills.
Anderson was arrested at the casino after a complaint was filed against him. Police have alleged that Anderson used five counterfeit bills for a total of $500 to bet at the blackjack tables. Anderson is still in custody and is being held under a $50,000 bond. For using the fake money, Anderson has been charged with attempting to utter a counterfeit instrument.
