Recent Statistics have shown that gamblers in the state of Florida are becoming more addicted to Blackjack. In the past, players have been addicted to the game of poker but recent additions of Blackjack to the state have increased the number of those addicted to the game.

CBS4 News recently reported that about a year ago poker was the game of choice for Florida residents and poker was the game gamblers were calling the help line for to get help. Now the game of choice is Blackjack and numbers have increased for the games problem gamblers.

Forty three percent of callers were asking for help with blackjack addictions in January which is a large increase from the nine percent from just a year ago. Seminole casinos began offering blackjack in June of last year and it seems apparent that gamblers have switched their game of choice and are now having problems with blackjack.
