Blackjack players in Detroit will be glad to know that the MotorCity Casino is now offering players a lower betting option for the game. The casino has installed $5 a hand blackjack machines that are similar to slot machines. Players can play Blackjack on a video screen while the dealer deals the cards on the screen.

The new game is called Table Master Royal Match 21 and the MotorCity casino is the first in the area to offer the lower betting option. At the end of April the casino opened four of the machines which can hold up to five players each. More machines are expected to be added in the near future.

Phil Trofibio the vice president of the slot operations at the casino commented on the additions: “This gives local folks the opportunity to play blackjack without spending their entire budget. It’s just like the real blackjack. The odds are the same.”

The casino has other electronic casino game options as well. An electronic version of roulette was added before the blackjack machines and has been very popular with the locals as well as visitors.
